We recently went through Nacogdoches, Tx. Four of the best years of my life were spent in this little town from 1987-1991. I attended Stephen F. Austin University. I wanted to show Kaitlin my alma matter and also I had heard the campus had several changes in the past few years. (ahemm, make that 24!)
They now have a parking garage...can't tell you HOW many tickets we got for illegally parking in order to make it to class on time. The Kerr hall where I lived my freshman year looked just the same, but Gibbs has been converted to an admin building. Crossroads - our favorite Friday night hangout was sadly nothing but a memory.
Kaitlin striking her best Texas Pioneer pose!
Check out the new University Center, not to mention this adorable squirrel who posed for my picture ;)
Many things had changed, but this tree that I used to sit & study under by the Old Stone Fort looked just the same!
Axe em' LumberJacks!!!
