Mom's Don't Get Vacation Days

I finally have vacation again after a long year of cancer treatment, I forfeited all my vacation days for 2010. I planned a day off from work for Kaitlin's Valentine's party at school. As it approached, I realized I would be very busy that day.

It began by waking at 6am to get ready so I could be at school by 7:30am for the Muffins with Mom breakfast before school. Then after walking Kaitlin to class with her teacher's Valentine's gifts, I returned home to get Iggy (my piggy) ready for his Kiss A Pig event at the school. (See former post)and trekked the 10 mile commute yet again. I then took Iggy home & assembled the heart shaped fruit platter for the class party...

....and bagged up the 20 Valentine goodie bags for her classmates. After having leftovers for lunch, I returned AGAIN (Yes, that is 3 times in one day!) to the school for her class party and to let Iggy kiss the one remaining teacher who was not at the school earlier.

After the V-day party, we returned home in time to change for tumbling in Cypress at 5:30pm. Tumbling practice, dinner at Luby's with Mom & Dad, some beautiful flowers from Billy and the end to a very long "Vacation" day...funny thing is - I wouldn't trade it for the world!
