Pinot's Palette - A Cancer Par-tay!

My dear sweet co-worker and friend, Lauren, decided how we would celebrate overcoming cancer before I was even through with treatments...gotta love support like that!  Some of her friends had gone to Pino't Palette a fun outing where you are led by professional artist to paint a "masterpiece" while sipping wine & giggling with girlfriends.  Once the doc confirmed my first scan was clear of cancer, we called to set up the class -only to find it was so popular we could not get in until mid September!  I picked Cherry Blossoms because it was sweet and unlike some of the Picasso's it could actully blend into most home decor- I really thought we would all be framing our masterpieces and giving them prominent wallspace in our homes (hindsight is 20/20).

It was a wonderful evening and many of my friends trekked to Houston on a Sunday night to paint, nibble, sip, & giggle.  Later we went to Ruggles Green which is a fun organic restraunt where Mom & I shared spicy shrimp pizza -YUMMY!!!  I feel so blessed to be celebrating with such special friends nine months after diagnosis.  Painting...one item from bucket list scratched off - many more to go.....
