I have discovered that I cannot excercise without my ipod - the sound of my heavy breathing is disturbing and I have tried to meditate, but I just can't clear my mind long enough for meditation....not at this point in my life anyway. So I listen to my ipod workout playlist that has Pink, Black Eyed Peas, and 80's music like Erasure, Prince, Bon Jovi, etc. Anything that makes me feel youthful and therefore more fit!~hey whatever psychology it takes to get me to hit the pavement!
Sadly, my ipod is on the brink and I can no longer sync my playlist or see what songs are playing. Today, it would not turn on at all, so I grabbed Kaitlin's pink ipod shuffle reasoning that Justin Bieber and Hanah Montana would sound better than my heavy panting! The first song was Wildfire which makes me cry everytime I hear it, so I fast forwarded to perhaps the best workout music ever.....The Chipmunks! The revved-up speed of the Chipmunks combined with modern songs reminded me of my workout playlist on crack! I found myself stepping double time!
