Countdown to Camp...

We are counting down the days until summer camp in the Christopher household...both with excitement and anxiety....excited for the new experience and dreading 7 nights without bedtime snuggles :( 

Not sure who will take it harder Kaitlin or Mommy?!  I have attempted to "prepare" for it this summer with her spending time away at Grammy & Papa's house.  She spent a week with them to attend Horse Camp (day camp) near their house.  I made it until Wednesday and then I had a sleep over at Grammies too!  This week she is taking swimming lessons in Cypress and she is staying with them again.  Not really the same as camp because Grammy & Papa's house is the next best thing to home. 

Recently we attended a Summer Camp Sneak Peek at Camp Allen.

In 28 days, she will be sleeping here with her cousin Lexi

and her friend M.E. as bunk-mates.

She will get to ride in this fun bus with these awesome people to go to  horseback riding, canoeing, archery, messy games, and

if we're lucky,

 she'll even take on the blob!

I know I will miss her dearly, but I also know that she will be forever changed by camp and that she will see Jesus daily in the faces of 20 amazing Senior Staffers, countless counselors, and a super amazing session duo:
